Martin Kite 
Martin was born about 1804 in , Hawkins, Tennessee. Martin's father was John Kite and his mother was July Elizabeth Louderback. His paternal grandparents were George Kite and Susan Barret; his maternal grandparents were David Louderback and Keziah Ward. He had three brothers and two sisters, named Henry, James, George, Elizabeth and Mary Or Polly. He was the second oldest of the six children.-
