William Kinchen 
William was born about 1711 in , , VA. William's father was William Kinchen and his mother was Elizabeth Ruffin. His paternal grandfather was Kinchen; his maternal grandparents were Robert Ruffin and Elizabeth Prime. He had a brother and five sisters, named Matthew, Mary, Sarah, Elizabeth, Martha and Patience. He was the third youngest of the seven children. He died in 1758 in , Edgecombe, NC.-
