Kettering 
Kettering was born in August 1772 in VA. Kettering's father was John Michael Kettering and her mother was Mary Margaret Marguard. Her paternal grandparents were Johann Balthasar Kettenring and Anna Margaretha Zimmer. She had seven brothers and four sisters, named Michael, John, Daniel, Henry, Peter, Christian, Frederick, Mary, Elizabeth, Valentine and Mary Magdalene. She was the fourth oldest of the twelve children. She died in August 1772 in Wythe County, VA.-
