Linnie W. was born on October 3rd, 1877 in , , Tennessee. Linnie W.'s father was Jacob Johnson and her mother was Sarah Catherine Lebow. Her paternal grandparents were Sanford Johnson and Louisa Lebow; her maternal grandparents were Isaac Lebow and Sarah Gray. She had three brothers and three sisters, named Landon C., Clyde W., Samuel L., Lucy E., Bell E. and Lady D.. She was the second youngest of the seven children. She had two half-brothers and a half-sister, named Thomas G., Hugh L. and Elizabeth W.. She died at the age of 53 on July 4th, 1931.-
