Susan Isbell 
Susan was born on June 18th, 1827 in Jackson County, Alabama. Susan's father was James Isbell and her mother was Elizabeth Birdwell. Her paternal grandparents were William Isbell and Sarah Richardson; her maternal grandparents were John Birdwell and Mary Allen. She had seven brothers and five sisters, named William, John, Allen, Benjamin, James, Zachary, Levi, Mary Ann, Sarah Manda, Margaret, Elizabeth and Lucinda. She was the fifth oldest of the thirteen children.-
