Silas Hutchcraft 
Silas was born on March 15th, 1832 in , Bourbon, Kentucky. Silas' father was Reuben Lee Hutchcraft and his mother was Frances Hedges. His paternal grandparents were Thomas Hutchcraft and Nellie Harrison Apperson. He had five brothers and four sisters, named John H., Thomas A., William Luther, Henry Clay, Reuben Brent, Lucinda, Mary Liza, Eleanor Or Ella Apperson and Nancy Coff. He was the fourth oldest of the ten children. He died at the age of 25 in November 1857 in , , Kentucky.-
