Thomas Blount was born on February 26th, 1775 in Of, Halifax, NC. Thomas Blount's father was Whitmell Hill and his mother was Winifred Blount. His paternal grandparents were John Hill and Martha Whitmel; his maternal grandparents were Thomas Blount and Elizabeth Whitmel. He had two brothers and a sister, named Joseph Blount, John and Elizabeth. He died at the age of 40 on October 15th, 1815.-
