Martha Hicks 
Martha was born in 1847 in , Hawkins, Tennessee. Martha's father was James Hicks and her mother was Susannah. Her paternal grandparents were William Hicks and Elizabeth. She had a brother and a sister, named William and America. She was the oldest of the three children.
