Kissiah Hicks

Kissiah was born in 1809 in Sullivan County, Tennessee.  Kissiah's father was Nathaniel Hicks and her mother was Mary Smith.  Her paternal grandparents were Isaac Hicks and Elizabeth. She had six brothers and a sister, named Isaac, Abraham, Reuben, John, James, Nathaniel R. and Elizabeth.  She was the oldest of the eight children.
