William Harris 
William was born in 1850 in Fayette County, Illinois. William's father was Uriah Harris and his mother was Mahaly Bankson. His paternal grandparents were Archibald Harris and Chaney. He had four sisters named Rachel, Jane J., Nancy and Eliza Anne. He was the youngest of the five children.
