Allie Ann was born on October 6th, 1876 in , Hawkins, Tennessee. Allie Ann's father was Hezekiah Davis Hamblen and her mother was Sarah Elizabeth Payne. Her maternal grandparents were William Latham Payne and Letha Whitson. She had a brother and three sisters, named James Deaderick, Mary Jane, Laura and Harriet. She was the third oldest of the five children.-
