Robert's baptism took place on June 4th, 1604 in St. Peter's, Nottinghamshire, England. Robert's father was Michael Gregory and his mother was Margery Marshall. His paternal grandparents were John Gregory and Alice Bailey. He had three brothers and four sisters, named John, Michael, William, Mary, Anne, Bridget and Catherine.-
