Bryant Greathouse 
Bryant was born in 1858 in , Wayne, Illinois. Bryant's father was William Greathouse and his mother was Elizabeth Newby. His paternal grandparents were Hiram Greathouse and Lydia Ann; his maternal grandparents were John Newby and Rebecca Simpson. He had three brothers and five sisters, named Elijah, Hiram, Daniel, Lucy J., Caroline, Rebecca, Lydia Ann and Lucena. He was the fourth youngest of the nine children.-
