Amis Grantham 
Amis was born on September 1st, 1791 in , Hawkins, Tennessee. Amis' father was Richard Grantham and his mother was Frances Amis. His maternal grandparents were Thomas Amis and Alice Gale. He had four brothers and seven sisters, named Lincoln, John Thomas, James, Richard, Penelope, Mary, Ann, Tabitha, Rachel, Rhoda and Alice Gale. He was the fourth oldest of the twelve children. He died at the age of 81 on April 24th, 1873 in San Gabriel, Milam, Texas.-
