John Garrison 
John was born in 1772 in , Surry, North Carolina. John's father was Isaac Garrison and his mother was Ballinger. His paternal grandparents were Isaac Garrison and Elizabeth Lawrence. He had a brother and two sisters, named Isaac, Sarah and Mary. He was the second youngest of the four children. He had four half-brothers named Joseph, David, William J. and James C.. He died at the age of 102 in 1874 in , Lee, Virginia.-
