Volney Dallas Galbraith 
Volney Dallas was born on April 12th, 1840 in , Hawkins, Tennessee. Volney Dallas' father was Andrew Larkins Galbraith and his mother was Orlena McCraw. His paternal grandparents were John Galbraith and Martha Larkins; his maternal grandparents were Gabriel McCraw and Susannah Latham. He had seven brothers and two sisters, named Dewitt Clinton, John Gabriel, Stephen Decatur, Commodore Pinkney, Thomas Arthur, Fidella Sharp, Frederick Dewolfe, Martha Ellen and Susan Adeline. He was the second youngest of the ten children. He died at the age of 9 on January 20th, 1850.-
