Matilda Forgey 
Matilda was born on August 26th, 1833 in , Hawkins, Tennessee. Matilda's father was James Reynolds Forgey and her mother was Eveline McCraw. Her paternal grandparents were James Forgey and Margaret F. Caldwell; her maternal grandparents were Gabriel McCraw and Susannah Latham. She had two sisters named Minerva Etter and Evelina. She was the second oldest of the three children. She had four half-brothers and five half-sisters, named John C., Gabriel Rogers, Jacob M., James Reynolds, Adeline, Susan, Ellen R., Margaret and Sarah C.. She died at the age of 35 on August 26th, 1868 in , Hawkins, Tennessee.-
