John Preston Fickle 
John Preston was born on May 2nd, 1853 in Sullivan County, Tennessee. John Preston's father was Robert Preston Fickle and his mother was Elizabeth Chamberlain. His paternal grandparents were Abraham Fickle and Margaret Rhea. He had four brothers and four sisters, named Oscar, Lincoln Rhea, Samuel Bruce, Robert Lee, Margaret Laura, Mary Frances, Jane Preston and Anna May. He was the second oldest of the nine children. He died at the age of 8 on March 21st, 1862.-
