Mary R. was born in 1867 in Of, Hawkins, Tennessee. Mary R.'s father was James L. Farmer. Her paternal grandparents were George Farmer and Elizabeth Or Lizzie. She had two brothers and a sister, named William, Yancy Baxter and Elizabeth. She was the oldest of the four children. Mary R. is no longer alive.
