Sarah Elsea 
Sarah was born in 1849 in Of Sullivan County, TN. Sarah's father was James Ellison Elsea and her mother was Ann Strickler. Her paternal grandparents were Isaac Elsea and Ina Coxe; her maternal grandparents were Samuel Strickler and Sarah Ann Frazier. She had two brothers and two sisters, named Samuel, Isaac, Mary Caroline and Amanda. She was the second oldest of the five children. She had three half-sisters named Alice, Josephine and Hannah.-
