Silas Eidson 
Silas was born in November 1879 in , Hawkins, Tennessee. Silas' father was Jacob B. Eidson and his mother was Matilda. His paternal grandparents were Eidson and Sophia. He had five brothers named Thomas, Joseph, Gaines, George and James. He was the youngest of the six children.
