Amelia Or Milly was born in 1800 in , , Tennessee.  Amelia Or Milly's father was Hezekiah Davis and her mother was Amelia Or Milly Johnson. She had eight brothers and three sisters, named Lewis, James, William, Asa, Hezekiah, Nelson, George Washington, Thomas, Susanna, Frances and Martha Or Patsy.  She was the fifth youngest of the twelve children.
