Raymond Alvis Cox 
Raymond Alvis was born on September 5th, 1895. Raymond Alvis' father was James Knox Polk Cox and his mother was Louisa J. Missouri Carter. His paternal grandparents were James Wilkerson Cox and Cornelia Abbela Hood; his maternal grandparents were William Carter and Kinser. He had five brothers and five sisters, named Robert Martin, Thomas Franklin, James Clarence, William Leslie, Virgil Alton, Cora Sallie, Callie Amelia, Lydia Isabel, Clara Chrisman and Ruby Naomi. He was the third youngest of the eleven children. He died at the age of 84 on October 14th, 1979.-
