George Clayman 
George was born in 1788 in Of, Sullivan, Tennessee. George's father was Jonathan Clayman and his mother was Catherine Grubb. His maternal grandparents were Jacob Grubb and Anna Metzger. He had four brothers named John Christian, Jacob, Isaac and James. He was the oldest of the five children. He died at the age of 62 in 1850.
