John Clay 
John was born on February 13th, 1800 in , Bourbon, Kentucky. John's father was Henry Clay and his mother was Margaret Helm. His paternal grandparents were Henry Clay and Rachel Povall. He had five brothers and five sisters, named Henry, Joseph Helm, Samuel H., Francis Povall, Matthew Martin, Lettitia, Sarah Or Sallie, Elizabeth Payne, Mary Ann and Henrietta. He was the third oldest of the eleven children. He died at the age of 76 on December 5th, 1876.-
