William Church 
William was born on August 16th, 1816 in , Hawkins, Tennessee. William's father was Henry C. Church and his mother was Mary Olive Surginer. His paternal grandparents were John Christian Church and Eleanor. He had four brothers and seven sisters, named Thomas, George W., Enoch, Henry C., Malvina, Emaline, Almira, Elizabeth Ann, Patience, Matilda Jane and Agnes Sarah. He was the second oldest of the twelve children. He died at the age of 72 on August 4th, 1889 in , Hancock, Tennessee.-
