John Christian 
John was born in 1856 in , Hawkins, Tennessee. John's father was David A. Christian and his mother was Mary Ann Vaughan. His paternal grandparents were James Christian and Elizabeth Anderson. He had three brothers and six sisters, named Lewis, Allen, David, Margaret, Elizabeth, Mary A., Rebecca A., Susan and Lucinda. He was the third youngest of the ten children.-
