Wurteh Of The Paint Clan was born about 1742 in Tasagi Town, Cherokee Nation, TN.  Wurteh Of The Paint Clan's father was Great Eagle Willenawah Cherokee Nation.  Her paternal grandfather was Montoy II Amodohiyi Cherokee Nation Chief. She had four brothers and three sisters, named Corn Tassel, Double Head, Pumpkin Boy, Nettle Carrier, Nancy, Sister Of Old Tassel and Sister Of Tassel.  Wurteh Of The Paint Clan is no longer alive.
