Mary Charles 
Mary was born about 1848 in Tennessee. Mary's father was Arlington J. Charles and her mother was Martha A. Delafield. Her paternal grandparents were Stephen K. Charles and Mary Knowles. She had a brother and two sisters, named William, Amanda and Tabitha. She was the second youngest of the four children.-
