Edwin Cato 
Edwin was born about 1851 in , Jefferson, Mississippi. Edwin's father was Sterling Cato and his mother was Rebecca Gillis. His paternal grandparents were Burwell Cato and Cato; his maternal grandfather was Norman Gillis. He had four sisters named Georgia Ann, Gertrude, Cora M. and Lacena. He was the second youngest of the five children.-
