Richard Anderson Caldwell

Richard Anderson was born in October 1849 in , Hawkins, Tennessee.  Richard Anderson's father was Andrew F. Caldwell and his mother was Hulda Dinsmore.  His paternal grandparents were Thomas Caldwell and Sarah; his maternal grandparents were Samuel Dinsmore and Elizabeth Allen. He had six brothers and six sisters, named James, Absalom, William, Jesse, Samuel J., Robert, Margaret, Elizabeth, Sarah, Rachel, Matilda and Eliza.  He was the fifth youngest of the thirteen children. He had four half-brothers and a half-sister, named Smith, Joseph, Elias, Calvin and Lucinda Jane.  He died at the age of 68 on December 31st, 1917.
