William Brooks

William was born in 1828 in Of, Hawkins, Tennessee.  William's father was James Brooks and his mother was Mariah. He had a brother and five sisters, named Henry, Katherine, Mary, Sarah Ann, Jane and Rachel.  He was the oldest of the seven children.
