John Brooks 
John was born on July 11th, 1823 in , Hawkins, Tennessee. John's father was Anthony Brooks and his mother was Hannah Price. His paternal grandparents were Thomas Brooks and Sarah Boone; his maternal grandparents were Henry Price and Catherine Wax. He had a brother and two sisters, named Stokley Deaderick, Alice and Catherine. He was the oldest of the four children. He died at the age of 65 on May 13th, 1889 in Near, Mooresburg, Hamblen, TN.-
