Emma Briscoe 
Emma was born in 1897 in Sullivan County, Tennessee. Emma's father was Benjamin D. Briscoe and her mother was Virginia E. Boy. Her maternal grandparents were Andrew Boy and Eleanor Hall. She had a brother and three sisters, named Benjamin, Eleanor, Ruth and Hannah. She was the youngest of the five children.-
