Martha Bradford

Martha was born on January 6th, 1779 in Halifax, North Carolina.  Martha's father was John Bradford Jr. and her mother was Elizabeth Smith.  Her paternal grandparents were John Bradford and Rebecca Pace. She had two brothers and two sisters, named William, Neal, Sara and Mary.  She was the second youngest of the five children. She had three half-brothers and six half-sisters, named Henry, Joseph John, Richard, Rebecca, Elizabeth, Tabitha, Frances, Dorothy Miriam and Anne.
