Jesse Daniel was born in 1816 in , Hawkins, Tennessee. Jesse Daniel's father was Daniel Or David Bloomer and his mother was Lucinda Defoe. He had four brothers and six sisters, named Nehemiah, Joseph, William, James D., Mary, Elizabeth, Milly, Phoebe, Martha and Lucy. He was the second youngest of the eleven children. He died in , , Kentucky.
