Samuel J. Birchfield

Samuel J. was born on August 21st, 1867 in Tennessee.  Samuel J.'s father was William Thomas Birchfield and his mother was Martha Bradshaw.  His paternal grandparents were Abner Birchfield and Lucinda Hicks; his maternal grandparents were William Bradshaw and Nancy Haynes. He had five brothers and five sisters, named Andrew Baxter, William Harve, David D., John Wesley, Charles Blain, Nancy E., Amanda M., Mary Ann, Sarah Melissa and Blannie.  He was the second oldest of the eleven children.  He died at the age of 58 on October 19th, 1925.
