James Beck

James was born about 1709 in Kent County, Maryland.  James' father was John Beck and his mother was Sophia King.  His paternal grandfather was Beck; his maternal grandparents were John King and Juliana Thomas. He had two brothers named Samuel and John King.  He was the second oldest of the three children. He had four half-brothers and two half-sisters, named Edward, John, Matthew, William, Mary and Rebecca.
