Bertha Preston was born on March 8th, 1891 in Sullivan County, Tennessee. Bertha Preston's father was James Barnes and her mother was Mary Ann Adams. Her maternal grandparents were Stephen Adams and Barbara Galloway Lotts. She was an only child. She died at the age of 89 in May 1980.-
