James Arnold 
James was born in 1834 in , Hawkins, Tennessee. James' father was Doctor Arnold and his mother was Susannah Mullins. His paternal grandparents were John Arnold and Franky Jennings. He had seven brothers and a sister, named Francis, Wright, Baker, Calvin, Nathan, John, William and Jane.
