Matilda "Tilda " Jane was born on June 1st, 1886 in Clay Co. WV . Matilda "Tilda " Jane's father was James William WHITE and her mother was Nancy A. CONLEY . Her paternal grandparents were William WHITE and Nancy DEAL ; her maternal grandparents were John CONLEY and Matilda HUNT . She had a brother and three sisters, named James Franklin "Doc" , Laura Bell , Rose "Rosy" Mahalia and Letta "Lettie" Carr . She was the second oldest of the five children. She had three half-brothers and seven half-sisters, named William , Joseph H, Lee , Minerva , Jane , Sarah , Elizabeth "Betty", Eliza J. , Bithana and Lydia . She died at the age of 90 on May 13th, 1977 in Clay Co., WV .General Notes
