Mary was born on January 26th, 1820 in Pocahontas Co., VA. Mary 's father was James L. RODGERS and her mother was Mary Margaret JACKSON. Her paternal grandparents were Michael Anderson RODGERS and Catherine Magdalena TROXALL. She had three brothers and three sisters, named Robert , Joseph , Drury J. , Sarah , Tabitha Jackson and Elizabeth . She was the fourth oldest of the seven children.-
