David HICKS 
David was born on August 28th, 1903 in Etowah Co, AL. David 's father was Nimrod Jones HICKS and his mother was Georgia A. STORY . His paternal grandparents were Richard Webster HICKS and Rachel Matilda JONES; his maternal grandparents were William B. STORY and Patience UNKNOWN. He had four brothers named Franklin , Newman Lafeyette, Daniel and Albert Barret. He was the third oldest of the five children. He had seven half-brothers and nine half-sisters, named Grover Cleveland, Jeffery Hicks, Lewis , Daniel , George, Charles M. G. , Robert Winston, Ann Elizabeth , Magnolia Caldonia "Maggie" , Maude Ellen, Josie , Martha , Josephine Ellen V. , Alice B. L., Idella "Della" and Infant Daughter. He died at the age of 80 on March 14th, 1984 in Gadsden, Etowah Co., AL .General Notes
