Clara L. "Clarie" was born on February 18th, 1897 in McNairy Co., TN. Clara L. "Clarie"'s father was John Daniel HENSON and her mother was Roxann "Roxey" Priscilla HARDIN. Her paternal grandparents were Nathanial S. HENSON and Martha Anney Carpenter; her maternal grandparents were William Denier HARDIN and Nancy Louisa LOWRANCE. She had two brothers and four sisters, named William Estell , John Dee, Earnestine T. , Essie B., Mary Elizabeth and Blanchie Ann. She was the second oldest of the seven children. She died at the age of 79 on March 30th, 1976.General Notes
