Susan E. "Sudie"  was born in 1873 in Rockcastle Co., KY .  Susan E. "Sudie" 's father was Jones Adams FRENCH and her mother was Mary L.  MULLINS . She had three brothers and two sisters, named James WIlliam "Bill" , Omsted Adams , Jeptha , Alice  and Sarah Belle .  She was the second youngest of the six children. She had four half-brothers and a half-sister, named John , Harry , Jones , Rollie  and Frances Dixie .
