Orland Tolstoy "Roy" was born in 1909 in TN . Orland Tolstoy "Roy"'s father was Daniel Breckenridge COX and his mother was Sophronia Parilee Naylor COX. His paternal grandparents were William Joseph Cox and Sarah Rogers. He had nine brothers and five sisters, named Morgan Victor , Ernest Cleveland , Elton Breckenridge, Utah, Herbert Shaler, Walter Clarence, Forest Coleman , Arnold Van Buren, Ural Hampton, Gertrude, Nora Maybelle "Mabel" , Grace M. , Ora Letta and Leetah. He was the youngest of the fifteen children.
