Jacob was born on February 27th, 1819 in Surry Co., NC . Jacob's father was Joseph CHANDLER and his mother was Anna JESSUP. His paternal grandparents were David CHANDLER and Elizabeth UNKNOWN. He had seven brothers and four sisters, named Charles , Levi, Willis , John , Harvey , Preston , Henderson , Lucy , Pernecia "Feeney" , Edith and Sarah . He was the sixth oldest of the twelve children. He died at the age of 25 on May 25th, 1844 in Hendricks Co., IN .General Notes
