David Patton Burns 
David Patton was born about 1817. David Patton's father was Peter Burns and his mother was Jane Miller. His paternal grandparents were John Burns and Margaret "Mary" (Scheib) SHIPE. He had six brothers and four sisters, named James, Francis, Job, Andrew, John, Peter, Thelma, Jane, Peggy and Elizabeth. He was the second youngest of the eleven children.-
