William BLAND 
William was born in 1752 in Prince William Co., VA. William 's father was Moses BLAND and his mother was Jane WIGGINTON. His paternal grandparents were William * BLAND and Catherine (KEY) KAY; his maternal grandparents were Henry (Sr) WIGGINTON and Amy Winifred NORMAN. He had a brother and five sisters, named Benjamin, Winifred "Winnie", Margaret "Peggy", Catherine "Cathy", Frances "Fanny" and Nancy Ann. He was the second oldest of the seven children. He had a half-sister named Sarah "Sally". He died after 1801 in Randolph Co., NC.General Notes
Note:
William appeared in Anson Co. N.C. July 15, 1772, when he received a parcel of land from Thomas Ward and his wife. He was still living in 1800-1801when he made land transactions in the Fork Creek area with William and John Needham, and his brother Benjamin.

William and his Wife moved from Va to Kentucky near Louisville around 1785. They move to Jackson Co., IN where Mary Jane an Able were born and moved back to Randolph Co., NC about 1790.
