John Buckner BLAND 
John Buckner was born about 1787 in Prince William Co., VA. John Buckner's father was Thomas Jr. BLAND and his mother was Sarah BYRNE. His paternal grandparents were Thomas BLAND and Jane SMITH ; his maternal grandparents were Samuel BYRNE and Clarissa "Clary" BUCKNER. He had two brothers named Samuel and Thomas. He was the oldest of the three children. He died in 1869 in Louisville, Jefferson Co., Ky.General Notes
Note:
John learned the copper business in Morgantown and went on to Louisville, Kentucky and set up an establishment on a large scale in that trade. He became rich and built a mansion outside the city limits and lived in luxury.
